Raymond joined Uni-span in 2014 as Design Engineer, originally based at our Perth branch. Ray is a qualified Civil Technician with more than 15 years of formwork experience. He has had a diverse range of experience with Uni-span, across multiple platforms of the business, including Design Engineer, Estimating, Sales and Project Management; with him finding his niche as Formwork Branch Manager.
Ray has worked on both commercial and civil projects on 2 continents within his 15 years in the industry and travelled abroad to receive additional formwork training. Prior to his start with Uni-span, he was part of a core team of managers that successfully lead their company through the 2008 GFC.
The biggest commercial project he has worked on was over 120,000 SQM of suspended floor slabs, with one of his biggest civil projects being the Durban Stadium, South Africa, for FIFA 2010. He now adds the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, QLD, Australia project to his portfolio of most significant civil projects worked on.
I have a passion for formwork and problem solving, and a vision to make Uni-span the Queensland formwork market leader.
