Transition to ISO 45001:2018
Late last year, Uni-span completed external surveillance audits against Quality (ISO 9001:2015), Environment (ISO 14001:2015) and Health and Safety with the aim to transition from OHSAS 18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018.
ISO 45001, Occupational health and safety management systems is the world’s first International Standard for occupational health and safety (OH&S). It provides a framework to increase safety, reduce workplace risks and enhance health and well-being at work, enabling an organization to proactively improve its OH&S performance.
Not only did Uni-span maintain our accreditation to both ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environment), but we also were successful in obtaining ISO 45001:2018.
