ORMA Modular Formwork

Vertical Formwork  //  Comments Off

Heavy duty and versatile vertical formwork.

The ORMA Modular Formwork suits any type of vertical structure, i.e. walls, columns, piers, abutments, foundations…in both building and civil engineering.

The ORMA Modular Formwork suits any type of vertical structure, i.e. walls, columns, piers, abutments, foundations…in both building and civil engineering. ORMA contributes effectively to minimise labour costs and assembling time, increasing performance considerably.

The system is comprised mainly of panels which, joined by clamps, make up formwork gangs. Moreover, ORMA has items that provide efficient and safe solutions for all types of geometries.

Primary Sulphur Plant, Mina Cerro Verde, Arequipa, Peru

Main features:

System designed to withstand high concrete pressures. Certified by the German organization GSV according to established guidelines and requirements.

Maximum concrete pressure:
- 3.3 m range: 80 kN/m2
- 2.7 m range: 74 kN/m2

Maximum deflections:
60 kN/m2 (line 7, tab.3 DIN 18202)
80 kN/m2 (line 6, tab.3 DIN 18202)

- For pouring height = 3.3 m, only 2 ties are necessary.
- For pouring height > 3.3 m, 3 ties are necessary.

Wide range of panels at heights of 3.3 m; 2.7 m and 1.2 m, with 3.3 x 2.4 m (7.92 m2) being the largest.

COLUMNS

  • There is a wide range of Column panels that provides solutions for columns from 30 x 30 cm to 120 x 120 cm with the option to adjust every 5 cm.
  • The range of heights for this type of panel is as follows: 2.7 m; 1.2 m; 0.6 m.
  • The range of Column panel widths follows: 0.72 m; 0.92 m and 1.32 m.
  • Seyrantepe Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey

  • These panels withstand 80 kN/m2 of concrete pressure.
  • Panels are joined by means of Universal panel bolts and Plate washer nuts 15, using the 5 cm spaced tie holes spaced on the panels.
  • Panels are vertically joined using the Adjustable clamp, sometimes combined with Walers.
