8 hours for Paradise Kids

8 hours for Paradise Kids

Brisbane Branch Manager, Richard Bilsland donned his hi-vis gear when representing Uni-span Can at Paradise Kids in Arundel on the 5 November 2014. Paradise Kids were requiring some maintenance works to be done in and around the property. Richard raised his hand to volunteer and clear the leaves and vegetation out of the gutters on the centre’s roof.

No matter how big or small the task at hand, the help goes a long way. Paradise Kids staff were grateful for Richard’s assistance and time.

Paradise Kids provides programs to children to ‘help heal the heartache’. They learn about life-skills and coping mechanisms to deal with grief through death, loss or an illness. It’s a phenomenal charity that helps children through traumatic experiences such as a death or approaching death of parent, grandparent or sibling, grief through the stress of separation or divorce, or the child’s own chronic life-limiting illness.

Uni-span Can is a helping hand. We know that no matter how big or small the task, its the time spent that will help make a difference in the life of those in need. Uni-span Can encourages others to get involved. A few hours can make a big difference!
